Aged 16 - 18 on January 1st 2010? Love Basketball? Then keep on reading.
Starting this Sunday 10th January, 18:00-19:30hrs in Onchan Youth & Community Center there's new weekly Under 19s basketball training. Open to male and female players aged 16-18, this open training session is aimed at providing more opportunities to young players who are enthusiastic about the sport. To find out more head to Onchan Community & Youth Center this Sunday, 18:00hrs or contact Martin Dunne.

Thursday 10th December saw the last league matches of 2009 for the Mens and Ladies leagues with plenty of teams squaring up for some pre-Christmas points. In the Men's league Microgaming Cavaliers took on Pinoy Rams while Outback Hoppers played Western Warriors and a double header finished the night with Ron Smiths' Turkeys against Pokerstars and Timbermann Tigers vs GB Marvels. The Ladies league also saw a great game as top of the league Fellas took on a strong Panthers side for the last league points of 2009.

Another great set of league matches were played in the NSC this last Thursday, 3rd December. Some close fought basketball in the Ladies league saw Search & Select Saints vs Panthers and the Fellas taken on Sleepwell Slammers. The Men's league featured an improving Pokerstars against the GB Marvels and the Ron Smiths' Turkeys took on Western Warriors. Meanwhile in the Junior League Western 1 sought to maintain their winning streak against GB'a. Why not pop down to the NSC this Thursday and check out the action live?
