 Calling all true ballers and States fanatics!
Northwest Basketball Camps is pleased to offer an unmissable chance for Isle of Man Basketball players to play ball and experience life in the United States of America.
NBC Tour is heading to Seattle, Washington in the Summer of 2010 and there are a limited number of places for Manx players on a first come, first serve basis! Players on tour will have a prime opportunity to test their skills against some of America's finest at the NBC Auburn Complete Skills basketball camp. Tourers will be put through their paces and get some amazing tuition in the glorious setting of Auburn Academy!
 A second week will be spent touring Washington state seeing some of the awesome sights of Seattle including the Space Needle, Safeco Field and Key Arena - home to Seattle Storm WNBA. NBC Tour offers a great chance to experience life in the home of basketball, playing great games, getting great tuition, meeting amazing people and having some time for experiencing the tourist life!!

This week's Isle of Man Basketball Association Leagues saw tough competition as teams continue to jostle for good position in the opening weeks of the season. The Men's league saw GB Marvels face last year's league champs Microgaming Cavaliers; The Outback Hoppers played a fast paced game against Pinoy Rams whilst league leaders Timbermann Tigers battled Western.
In the Junior leagues West 1 played GB'z while Southern played a friendly against GB'a. There was also some great fun had by all the participants in the first "Come & Try It" session of the 09/10 season.

There were some nail biting scenes at the NSC this week as teams played hard for positioning in the Isle of Man Basketball Leagues. The Junior Legue saw GB'z take on Southern while in the Ladies league there Fellas played Panthers and there was a tough game between Dacom and Search & Select Saints. This weeks Men's league featured an undefeated Timbermann Tigers v The GB Marvels, Pokerstars played Western and Microgaming Cavaliers and Outback Hoppers played one of the closest games of the season, keeping spectators guessing right to the end.

There was more great action in the Isle of Man Basketball Leagues at the NSC last night (Thursday 8th). The Junior leagues saw GB'a and GB'z take on Western and Southern respectively. Meanwhile the Men's league saw great games between Microgaming Cavaliers and Marvels, Outback Hoppers v Pinoy Rams and Timbermann Tigers vs Western. There was also a successful come and try it session where new and returning players got the chance to try their hand at the game.
