NSC, Thursday 18/02/10 - This week saw a suspension of normal league fixtures for a special handicap tournament involving the full roster of both Men's & Ladies League teams. With games of only 12 minutes and handicap scores determined by league table position there was plenty of fast paced action as teams fought to secure places in the final.

The IOMBBA is pleased to announce the "Blow Your Whistle" referees course, a refresher for new and old referees alike - running 19:30 - 21:30 Thursday 4th March. This is a great chance to experience reffing in a relaxed environment, with the emphasis on fun, without irate players calling for the ball!  It is informal and free!  The course will include a short introductory session followed by practical hints and tips, and a go at blowing your whistle.

Each team must nominate at least 2 reps to attend this compulsory course. Please note that only attendees to this course, and those who have existing FIBA recognised qualifications, will be eligible to referee league & cup matches on behalf of league teams.
