Final Call for Island Coach Applications

Applications for the position of Coach of the U18s, Mens and Ladies Island Teams close on Friday 23rd February 2024. Applications must be submitted in writing to the Association Secretary, Martin Dunne, no later than this date. The form below can be used to submit an application.

Under the terms of the Basketball Association’s constitution, the positions were opened at the end of January and any applications will be referred to the Executive Committee for review and appointment.

The Island coaches are responsible for the training, development and selection of the Island teams, with a view to off-island competition and the International Island Games held on a biennial basis. The successful candidates should have a relevant coaching qualification, or extensive experience, and some off-island travel will be expected. The appointments are for the period up to July 2027, with a review by the Executive Committee in August 2025.
