Turkeys triumphant in festive 3v3

A fun and festive 3v3 tournament was held on Thursday to cap off the year with more than 50 players battling it out for a coveted Isle of Man Basketball Pin badge. Friendly competition was plentiful as teams such as “4 Wise Men”, “Ben My Chree”, “Brick Layers” and “Jake’s Army” faced off in quick fire round robin games. Turkeys came out top of the table with an unbeaten record all the way to the final where they faced Golden Rings who battled through from mid-ranking to secure their spot. A close-run affair the final ended in overtime with David Boyle hitting the winner for Turkeys to cheers from the crowd.
