January Cup Starts Thursday

This Thursday sees the return of the January Cup with all existing players eligible to play for free and new players welcomed for a fee of £40. Teams are encouraged to mix and split their squads to make for a more interesting competition. Last season it was OG Marvels, a mixed squad of current and veteran players, who took down the trophy beating Jets in a thrilling final.

There are changes to the Competition rules compared to the Senior League with some key call outs:

• Games will be 20 minute running clock halves with 1 hour game slots (20:00-21:00, 21:00-22:00)
  • Dependent on team numbers we may have games at 19:00-20:00
  • The Cup will run for 4 weeks, including finals
• Players already registered for the Senior League or D2 are eligible to play for free
  • New players may register for the Cup for a fee of £40
• Team registration deadline is 17:00hrs on Wednesday 10^th January
  • Teams encouraged to mix/split to make for a more interesting format
    • There is no fee for registering a new or additional team
    • For teams seeking additional players we have a number of free agents looking to play

League games will resume after the Cup concludes with the full league schedule and details of the dinner dance to be published this week.
