Crosbie Leads Jets Surge After Cavaliers’ Fast Start

The Cavaliers started strongly, leading 21–15 after the opening quarter, but the Jets steadily turned the screw through the middle of the game and pulled clear for a 79–47 win. A decisive second quarter swing (23–13 Jets) flipped the momentum, before the Jets extended the gap with a 17–6 third quarter and finished with a dominant 24–7 in the fourth.

The Jets’ scoring depth showed in the numbers: 31 field goals made (23 × 2PT, 6 × 3PT) and 11/17 from the line, while the Cavaliers recorded 18 field goals made (14 × 2PT, 4 × 3PT) and were perfect at 7/7 on free throws. Fouls were also a factor, with Cavaliers on 16 and Jets on 9.

Top scorer on the night was Thomas Crosbie with 34 points (7 × 2PT, 4 × 3PT, 8/9 FT). The Jets also got support from Logan Glover (12) and Jake Glover (11). For the Cavaliers, Chris Wolfendale posted 16 (including 3 threes and 5/5 FT), while Wig Bregazzi added 13.

The Wolves produced a complete performance to defeat Southern Phoenix 91–58, building separation with a huge defensive third quarter that limited Phoenix to just 7 points. Wolves led 24–18 after the first and 45–37 at half-time before stretching the lead with 21–7 in Q3, then closing out strongly with 25–14 in the fourth.

Wolves finished with 39 field goals made (32 × 2PT, 7 × 3PT) and were flawless at 6/6 on free throws. Phoenix recorded 25 field goals made (21 × 2PT, 4 × 3PT) and 4/5 at the stripe. Personal fouls: Wolves 8, Phoenix 6.

The standout was Viktor Capkanovski, who poured in 41 points (12 × 2PT, 5 × 3PT, 2/2 FT). He was backed up by Shane Collins with 14 and Max Edwards with 11. For Phoenix, Matthew Jones led with 26 (10 × 2PT, 1 × 3PT, 3/3 FT), with Konrad Hand adding 15.

Cannons Elite racked up 100 points in a commanding 100–50 win over the Pirates, powered by a blistering first quarter (31–10) and an even bigger final quarter (36–10). Pirates had their best spell in Q2 (20 points), but Cannons stayed in control and reasserted dominance after the break.

Cannons posted 40 field goals made (25 × 2PT, 8 × 3PT) and went 5/6 from the line (83.3%). Pirates recorded 22 field goals made (18 × 2PT, 4 × 3PT) and hit 2/5 free throws. Both teams finished with 7 personal fouls.

Rowan Coulter led the Cannons with 35 points, fueled by a huge perimeter tally (7 × 2PT, 7 × 3PT). Evan O’Dea added 15, while Oliver Hamilton and Gabe Thatcher contributed 13 each. For the Pirates, Mike Brew top-scored with 11, with Owen Chestnut on 9 and J Russell on 8.
